Do you want to visit India? Have you applied for an Indian visa and need to know how long it will take for your application to be processed? Whether you are a French citizen or German, this article is for you.
Indian Visa Process
The process for obtaining an Indian Visa for French citizens and German citizens is basically the same. However, there are a few key differences that applicants should be aware of.
For starters, both France and Germany are part of the Schengen Area. This means that their citizens can travel freely between member states without having to obtain a visa. However, when traveling to India, all Schengen Area nationals must apply for a regular tourist visa.
The good news is that the Indian Visa application process is relatively straightforward. All applicants will need to submit a completed application form, along with supporting documents such as a passport photo and proof of travel insurance. Once the application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Indian consulate or embassy.
If everything is in order, the applicant will receive an email or letter confirming their visa grant. They can then print out their visa and present it at the port of entry into India. It’s important to note that German citizens are also required to have an onward or return ticket before they can enter India.
